Kirk and Mariah met all the way back in 2018, as they both attended the Ozark Mountain Homeschoolers Co-Op. It started with eating lunch with the same friends, then there was the Minecraft servers, the Dungeons & Dragons games, the Renaissance Faires, the camping trips, and so much more! Everything was more fun together… Even the late-night heart-to-hearts about their deepest fears and regrets, the highest highs that were the way they were because of the other’s support, the list goes on. They’ve talked almost every day since they met. They finally started dating officially in 2022, and then out in the Mark Twain National Forest, at their group’s favorite camping spot, Kirk got on one knee with the ring he forged himself and Mariah said yes!
